Dancing in the Middle If you have a daughter or even a son ages 10-14 who is learning to dance in the middle in his or her social environment recommend this book about Mia who has already been there, done that and learned some important things along the way. By the way, the author says one of the rather disgusting personal habits mentioned in the book really isn't fiction.
This book is not just a good story. It contains real life lessons for any tween girl or boy. It can also help parents remind and understand what their children are dealing with as they grow toward adulthood. Dancing in the MIddle can be a very difficult time . This book puts a positive perspective on life in the middle. It gives the reader good ideas on how to handle "growing up" situaltions. Barbara Tuttle has provided a wonderful tool for Tween Readers, Parents and other adults who want to understand them!!
