The author's advice regarding today's financial world is very similar to my parents' advice from long ago but updated to address today's economy. I throughly enjoyed this book. It was both informative and entertaining. Mark took a dry subject matter and turned it into a fun and interesting read. It is great to be able to learn about history and finances and enjoy it at the same time.

My copy is quickly becoming dog-eared. We feast on these pearls around the dinner table, and it has become required reading for our six home-schooled children. This book is easy to read, hard-hitting and sobering. It will change your perspective regarding money, economics, finances and investing. I stongly recomend this book to virtually anyone; and like beginning a steady investment plan - the sooner the better. If we could only back 60 years and implant these precepts into the minds of Americans, our financial concerns of 2011 would be few. Thank you Mark - I think I'll read your others as well!
